Comment: I have bought many of Black and Decker Dustbusters over the years and this one is also a good product. Has good suction, and easy to use. I have found that the battery last a little over two years and then you need to replace the unit. I found that Wallmart has this product at a better price them I got it.

Comment: This product don't works well. The battery holds for 2 or 3 minutes only. I did charged for more than 21 hours before I used. I am very disappointed.

Summary: Great product 2008-12-03
Comment: This is a great product. Very powerful and easy to empty. Feels solid. The only con I see is the battery is Ni-cad and is prone to memory problems and will eventually need to be replaced. Some others use sealed lead acid that I would think will last much longer.
Overall very happy with my purchase but I did see it cheaper at Lowe's the day after I got it in the mail =(

Summary: Flawed from the get-go. 2008-11-20
Comment: I just tried one of these at a retail store. The power button was really difficult to slide forward into the "on" position. To make matters worse, the power button is surrounded by a hard-edged raised rim that makes sliding the power switch -- crazy but true -- somewhat painful on your thumb. Go figure. I love Dustbusters and have owned a series of them over the years. It's possible that the unit I tried at the store was a lemon, but the sharp-edged raised rim on the power button is still a stupid design no matter how you look at it. I never had any problem turning on the previous models, so I don't know what problem Black & Decker was trying to solve, but this model never should have gotten beyond the prototype stage.

Comment: I purchased two of these dustbusters. I have always kept one on each level of our home because they are so useful for quick cleaning jobs. The two I purchased this time, included one as a gift for my granddaughter. She called me the other night and the first thing she said was: "How did I ever live without a dustbuster!" This model is the best one I have used, and I am enjoying it immensely. Thank you.
