This is the ultimate convenience tool. High-powered, sturdy yet lightweight, this DustBuster picks up any mess in and around the house. Most full-size vacuums only pick up dry dirt and dust particles, but, whether it's for picking up dirt the dog brought in or a glassful of spilled milk, this DustBuster's up to the task. Complete with a crevice tool and firm upholstery brush, it gets those nasty messes wherever they occur, without the heavy awkwardness of a full size vacuum. Comment: The problem with this is a year later, the battery can't hold a good charge for more than 2 - 3 minutes. The sponge has to be replaced every few months. (About [money amount] off auction sites).Still, it's handy.. But it only holds less than a dixie cup full of liquid. If you try to suck to much then it overflows and causes a bigger mess. A good buy.

Summary: Amazon should list voltage with handheld cordless vaccuums! 2002-03-06
Comment: I returned this as soon as it came because the box said it was 4.8 volts, and B&D makes a 9.6 volt (albeit not a wet/dry) cordless handheld vaccuum. i wanted the most power i could get, and assumed it would be in the "deluxe" model. i decided to forget about the wet feature because after reading the instructions i learned that after vaccuuming wet spills you need to rinse the filter (sponge) and the collection bin each time. OK- for that much trouble give me a paper towel!

Comment: I had the older model , but I broke it somehow and received this one for christmas. I love it. The suction power is much better than the older model. I have two toddlers, so there is always something to clean up. As in an earlier review this is a noisy one, but again the suction power is much greater. I also like that you don't have to hold the button down,as in the earlier model.I highly reccomend this one.
