Summary: disappointed! 2008-11-19
Comment: I couldn't wait to get this and start cleaning. When the box arrived it wasn't in the greatest shape. The cord on the cleaner had white paint type marks on it too. I wasn't even sure that it was brand new! (so I e-mailed the seller.) It blows steam but surely doesn't clean that way I thought it would. I'm really disappointed!

Comment: I've never owned a steam cleaner before and was looking for an inexpensive one to use to just do simple household chores (window sills, gunk in crevices) I don't have anything to compare this cleaner to but it seems to do a fairly decent job. Paying $50 or more for a similar product doesn't make sense. I like the attachments it came with (instruction manual could be a bit better on how and what to use each piece for) but all in all, it's a great product for the price.

For an inexpensive unit it rivals the more expensive models that sell at more than three times the price. This time cheaper is just as good or better!

Comment: At $20, one can't really complain about the limitations of this unit. I don't have big jobs for it come along often so I'm happy with my purchase and the quality. I have not tried to do much with it outside of cleaning jewelry.

Comment: I was a bit leary when reading reviews but ordered it any. The price was great and it was shipped fast. When I opened the box it had a very strong rubber smell. I'm sure it will go away after some use. The instruction manual is the pits. No explaination or tips. Just the parts and very BASIC instructions. You have to go slow and figure it out. I did test it on kitchen faucets that collect grime around the edges and are hard to move and the machine blasted it all way. You do need to have a few rags handy as steamers make water puddles and need to be wiped up right away along with the grunge. I use distilled water as I don't want rust later down the line. The top is still a challenge for me as it is hard to pull out. The machine works great and holds steam longer than my canister one. As someone said you need patience and common sense to figure out how to work this as the instruction manual is pitiful. It is a great buy and solid (even though made in China) and I feel this one is a LOT better than the advertised ones on TV.
