Hand-held but very powerful, this Eureka model eliminates the hassle of lugging around a full-size vacuum for cleaning car upholstery, sofas, and carpeted stairs. A long 20-foot cord (which wraps for storage) provides good reach, as does the deluxe hose that stretches to three times its length. With the crevice tool on the end of the hose, this vacuum reaches into all kinds of tight places. And, with two motors, one to power the revolving brush and one for suction, the 5.5 amp vacuum cleans deeply.
One of Eureka's innovations is the Riser Visor, a clear plastic cover that stays down for cleaning horizontal surfaces and flips up so the revolving brush can reach the vertical carpet on stair risers. There's no bag to change, just a filter and clear plastic dust cup to shake out when necessary. --Ann Bieri

Summary: Love it! 2010-03-11
Comment: This vacuum is great for pet hair and especially stairways. The suction is very strong since it has a power cord versus batteries. My sister got one the other day after I raved about it and she loves it, too. It is lightweight and easy to clean. We definitely are please with our Eureka vacuum. My only suggestion would be to lengthen the hose but that is a minor detail that can easily be overlooked. Love it.

Comment: When the belt broke on our full size vacuum, I used this to clean the entire bottom floor of our house. Realized that our full size had not been working well for a while!

Summary: Hardest working little vacuum 2010-03-10
Comment: This product absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our home has 18 foot ceilings with high plant ledges. Since both me and my husband are disabled, climbing up a ladder to dust the ledges and any cobwebs causes concerns for our safety. With this hand vac all anxiety is blown out the windows. It is very light weight with maximum suction power. The only complaint is the vacuum hose could be a tad longer. You will not be disappointed in this product and the price really seals the deal.

Comment: I use this vacuum for my stairs and for vacuuming my car. It's got GREAT suction and does everything I hoped for! I had done my research prior to buying this and concluded that this is the best hand-held vac out there and I am happy to report that it really is everything I expected. Highly recommended!

Comment: This is the most powerful small vacuum I've ever used. It does pick up the cat hair which is why I purchased it. Cleaning the container is pretty easy. It is bulky, but very useful. I also prefer the corded type, because the cordless run out of power when you need it most and seem to wear out quickly.
