Summary: It works well enough. 2008-05-23
Comment: I was hoping for something a little nicer than this. It was so much pricier than the small micron bags for other dust collectors offered by Grizzly. It wasn't worth it to return it.
The catalog suggested that the material was slick, but it's just a felt-like material. The mouth seems too large and you need to buy a hose clamp to properly seal it, but then I realized that it made the bag far easier to empty. I would reccommend it, but I'd rather own the Penn State Industries bag (but they are overpriced).

Summary: High quality dust bag 2006-01-06
Comment: This bag is 15" in diameter and 24" long. It has a 6" extended "snout", 6.5" in diameter with a draw-string, for connection to a vacuum. Even though it's designed to fit a Grizzly G1163, it will fit any output pipe up to 6.5" in diameter. Mine is attached to a 2.5" diameter output port on a shop vacuum used as a "central vac" in the workshop. I folded over the excess snout material, wrapped a folded handkerchief around that to protect the bag material, and used one of those stainless steel clamps to hold it in place.
The bag material is quite thick and the seams are professionally done. Grizzly claims it traps dust particles as small as 3/10 of a micron (3/10000"). That's state-of-the-art in filtration; so this is similar to a HEPA filter. Given that the HEPA filter on our MIELE Blue Moon canister vac costs $50, this bag is a true bargain. Well worth it for healthier lungs.
