MC Heavy Duty Steam Cleaner
Amazon.com Review
Providing 1500 watts of steam power, this heavy-duty cleaner requires no chemicals and is easy to use. Ideal for cleaning and detailing cars, trucks, motorcycles, or boats, the cleaner removes stains and odors from upholstery, carpeting, and floor mats, as well as grease and grime from engines, wheels, and chrome accessories. It also works well for removing stuck-on dirt from the BBQ grill, patio furniture, or garage. The "steam ready" light indicates when the unit is ready to use, and a steam-control switch provides control over the amount of steam coming from the unit. The cleaner features a storage compartment for its 10 attachments, which include a steam jet nozzle, two extension wands, a triangle brush, an upholstery/floor brush, and a utility brush, as well as a squeegee, funnel, measuring cup, and terry cover for the floor brush. Its 12-foot power cord, caster wheels, and included accessories offer convenient mobility and make it easy to clean nooks and crannies in hard-to-reach places. The 13-pound steam cleaner has a 50-ounce water-tank capacity, which allows for one full hour of use. The unit measures 17-1/2 by 11-3/7 by 9-1/4 inches. --Catie Unger

Summary: A Steamy Dream 2010-07-24
Comment: Got this product to remove solar film from my car windows. Love the fact this unit has a big tank, so I could work for an hour or so. Produces excellent steam, does what it is suppose to do. Found myself cleaning my rims on my card, cleaning bathroom sink, lots of other uses. This is an excellent product.

Comment: i did my searches and looked over reviews for steamers and narrowed it down to this one. the price is decent and i used it as planned, on everything. everything got cleaned. it even spot steamed the carpet. first vacuum, then spot steam, then vacuum again is how it was done. it pretty much lived up to its expectations. although i should use filtered water, i have been using tap water and will consider filtering it because of any mineral buildup. though water here isn't that hard with minerals. one could even start a business with something like this.

Comment: I love this little machine. Has a big reservior for the water and it steams forever. Bought this to clean the grout in the tile and it is definitely worth it! Way better then using a brush!

Summary: "Weak Duty" Steam Cleaner 2010-07-05
Comment: Was sold on this particular steamer, mostly by all the "hype", selling it as a "Heavy Duty" Steamer for "Automobile Engines", "Barbeque Grills" etc., etc. Bought it to clean an (already relatively clean) motorcycle engine. The unit did little more than spray "warm water" on the engine, leaving what little grease and grime there was in tact. I ended up having to go through my regular routine of using engine cleaner, brushes and good old elbow grease to get the engine clean. Can't imagine how it would be able to even come close to tackling a "dirty" automobile engine or cooking grill. Don't be fooled by all the hype! This unit is nothing more than a regular "weak duty" household steamer.
