Comment: This thing is great! I just moved into a new place and it had this nasty soap scum on the shower floor I could scrub and srub and scrub but it would barely take it off so I got the seamer hoping it would work and it did! I used the scrubber attatchment and it took it right up. Its not just soap scrum that it takes off either, above the stove on the oven vent cover it was all greese and grime and once again I could scrub and scrub and it would barely budge but this steamer took that off too! Get this thing, its also really easy for just keeping things clean and is so simple to use!

Comment: My wife bought this item thinking it would be a big help in cleaning glass shower stall as well as other dusting chores. First task was to tackle the soap scum on the glass shower. What a pain! You need two hands to operate the Shark - one to hold the tank/heater/pump and the other to handle the cleaning wand. I ended up holding the swinging door between my knees. As for the job it did, it took way too long to get the glass anywhere near to clean. It left streaks that had to be cleaned with a dry cloth. I could have done a much better and quicker job with "Greased Lightning" and "Windex".
To me, it's cumbersome and not worth the price.
If it had a longer hose and an on/off switch on the wand handle, so that the motor could sit on the floor, it would be much easier to handle. As it is, I'll use "Pledge" and a dust cloth for my dusting jobs.

Comment: I really love this product. I had a lot of doggie stains on my couch. So I applied an oxi type spray cleaner to the spots, I'd done this before but it could not remove the stains by itself. But when I used the furniture wand the stains dissapeared along with the smells. Great product!

Comment: I like the idea of a portable steam cleaner and the Shark is a good size with some really nice attachments. Here's the deal with this cleaner - Your house needs to be in a "semi-clean" state to really get the full benefits of this machine. While it removes light dirt and dust, it doesn't remove "ground in" dirt. The infomercial shows this item removing baked on grease and cooking spills from a stovetop and inside an oven. In reality, the Shark Portable Pocket Steamer didn't do such a great job on the tougher stains.

It's also a bit difficult to clean the bathtub and sink as the attachments don't bend or conform to any rounded areas. One last negative issue, if you use this cleaner for any length of time or if you clean vigorously (at least when you first receive it) your hands will ache for days afterwards! I'm not sorry I purchased this and I've used it three times in the week that I've had mine but it is not the miracle cleaning machine that the infomercials make it appear to be. It's just a decent alternative to chemical cleaning products.
