Summary: LOVE IT 2008-11-03
Comment: I have been using the wetjet for about a yr now. So far I have replaced the batteries once.
I love it. I have dogs and there are always little footprints on the tile as they use potty mats and the WetJet is great for quick cleanups. It is also great when u deep clean! I love the cleaner that has febreeze in it.
I am not as please w/the hardwood cleaner, it doesn't leave as good of a shine as my current cleaner. That is why I have 4 stars.

Summary: PADS FOR CLEANING NO GOOD 2008-10-15
Comment: I BOUGHT ONE. PADS GET FILTHY AFTER A FEW STROKES ON A DIRTY FLOOR AND THEN CONTINUE TO SPREAD THE FILTH. TV ADS NEVER SHOW A DIRTY PAD. ALL PAD MOPS WILL BE JUST AS USELESS. IN MY OPINION, THIS PRODUCT WAS DESIGNED FOR USE ON CLEAN TV FLOORS OR TO SELL REPLACEMENT PADS.
BOTTOM LINE- PADS SPREAD DIRT, NOT CAPTURE IT.

Summary: EATS YOUR MONEY 2008-10-14
Comment: I like the concept that you dont have to lug around a mop and a bucket.
I notice with this mop that I will mop my floor and mop the second time and on the second time I still get a dirty pad. How is that? I thought that you mop once and all the dirt comes off the floor. I have a huge kitchen. 2 pads should do the trick but it does not. I end up using more pads. This mop is expensive but worth it if you dont want to lug around a mop and bucket. I want to keep this mop so in order to keep it I have now tooken a drill and drilled a hole in the top of the solution bottle and have poured pine sol and water into the empty bottle. HA HA Swiffer. You didnt think that I could find a way around your pricy bottles. They just want your money. Thats why they try to make it impossible to refill the bottles with your own cleaner.

Summary: buy the clorox readi mop instead 2008-10-07
Comment: as i'm sure everyone else has stated; unless you're creative** you must use only swiffer wet jet solution and cleaning pads with this one.
the next problem comes when i install the wetjet cleaner bottle and it leaks.
if do not remove it promptly after every mopping session the entire bottle will dispense itself onto my floor in a very nice puddle.
considering that i must use the fairly expensive WetJet cleaning solution i have wasted far more money than this INconvenient mop is worth.
**creative endeavors:
fashion your own washable cleaning "diaper" out of and old rag wrapped with a microfiber dust cloth cut and sewn to fit the mop head - the microfiber attaches itself to the velcro that's already there. ;)
you can pop the top off the cleaning solution by running it under hot water for a few minutes which allows you to then refill with your own favorite mopping solution.

Summary: If you like this wetjet...be prepared to buy a new one every 6 months 2008-10-06
Comment: This product is pretty good for a quick cleanup and I find that the pads actually remove a lot of dirt. However, this darn product keeps breaking in half (at the point where the handle connects to the rest of the pole). It is so annoying!
I have now bought a similar Mr. Clean mop which has a much sturdier pole since the spray is generated by trigger action not by battery power. Therefore, no wires need to run through the poles.
I wonder how many swiffer wetjets are lying around in garbage dumps with broken handles...what a waste! It is a shame because you can't even post a review at the swiffer wetjet web site.
